How you can give
We are committed to spreading the love of Jesus in our local community and further afield, being a light in the darkness, and bringing living water to a thirsty world.
Whilst we do hold fundraisers and designated offerings for specific missional work and activities e.g. our local Foodbank, there are other general costs that require covering so that we can continue our work here in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water.
There are several ways in which you can financially support the Water Church should you choose to.
we have a collection basket every Sunday for cash offerings
we have two card machines (in the front and back of the church building) for card/contactless donations
we have the capabilities to arrange a personal Standing Order for transfer donations (please speak to the Church Treasurer to arrange this)
we are linked with EasyFundraising and Stewardship
EasyFundraising is a free way to raise money for a cause you care about while you shop online.
When you shop with over 8,000 retailers through EasyFundraising, they'll donate to your chosen cause. You pay exactly the same price as you normally would, and your cause receives free donations from your everyday shopping.
Stewardship have been working with generous Christians and the ministries they support for 120 years.
Their professional services equip, grow and strengthen churches, charities and other Christian ministries so they can create more impact for God’s Kingdom.
Make your donation go further with Gift Aid.
Gift Aid is a government initiative which allows us to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers at no cost to the giver. This means that every donation will be worth 25% more - at no extra cost to the giver. For example, with Gift Aid, we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated; this makes a significant difference for the church.
If you are willing and able to support us with Gift Aid, you simply need to complete a Gift Aid Declaration, which is readily available from the Church Treasurer.
